DO
HARD
THINGS.
Mia competes, trains, builds and learns. She likes challenges that require work, decisions and the willingness to keep going.
NEVER
JUST ONE
THING.
Mia likes being challenged. Give her something difficult to learn, a problem to solve or a target to chase and she wants to figure it out.
That shows up in Ninja Warrior, flag football and HYROX. It also shows up in the things she builds, the questions she asks about her faith and the ideas she keeps working on outside of sports.
She does not have everything figured out. She does not need to. There is always another skill to learn, another mistake to correct and another standard to reach.
FIVE PARTS OF HER WORLD
Ninja Warrior
Read the obstacle. Commit to the move. Miss it, learn why and train it again.
Flag Football
Quarterback and receiver. Read the field, know the assignment and compete until the play is finished.
HYROX
Run. Work. Recover. Repeat. Training discipline and learning how to keep moving when fatigue starts making decisions harder.
Faith
Read Scripture. Ask questions. Trust God. Let what she believes affect how she lives.
Building
Take a big idea and work backward. Draw it. Measure it. Question it. Keep making it more real.
EARN
THE
CONFIDENCE.
Mia does not need to feel confident before she starts.
Confidence can come later. First comes preparation. Reps. Mistakes. Corrections. More reps.
Ninja teaches it. Football teaches it. HYROX teaches it. So does building something that does not work correctly the first time.
The work comes first. Confidence has something to stand on after that.
THROW IT.
CATCH IT.
COMPETE.
Mia likes quarterback because the ball starts in her hands and the decision has to be made. Read the defense. See the space. Deliver the football.
She likes receiver because the responsibility changes. Run the route correctly. Create separation. Find the ball. Finish the catch.
She does not need to be defined by one position. She wants to understand the game well enough to contribute from either side of the throw.
READY
BY
40.
Mia has a long-term goal: build her own multi-sport fitness facility.
She is not waiting until adulthood to begin thinking about it. She is already working through layouts, regulation-sized sports spaces, training areas and how a real facility would function.
The plan does not need to be perfect today. It needs to keep getting better.
She has years to learn about construction, operations, sports programming, business and everything else required to actually build it.
LIVE
WHAT YOU
BELIEVE.
Her faith is not about pretending she always gets things right. She does not.
It is about having a standard to return to: tell the truth, own the mistake, treat people well, ask for help, trust God and keep working.
That is also why she created The Living Word. If her faith matters, she wants to spend time understanding what the Bible actually says.
Faith is not another sport or another item on a schedule. It is supposed to affect everything else.
FAITH.
FOCUS.
FINISH.
Different sports. Different goals. Different challenges. The standard stays the same: know what matters, prepare for the work and finish what you started.
